(Parent Notification System)
What is SchoolMessenger?
SchoolMessenger is an automated system that contacts parents through phone calls, texts messages, and email to notify them about absences, important news, school closings, and crisis situations. Approximately 2,000 phone calls can be placed per minute with SchoolMessenger. School principals and county administrators use this system to ensure parents stay informed about important events in their children's schools.
New this coming school year will be the ability for parents to modify the numbers called for different purposes, and to add a number if it does not appear on the student's record.
I'm a parent. How do I change my child's phone numbers?
Phone numbers move to SchoolMessenger automatically from WVEIS. To correct phone numbers, contact your child's school to have them update the numbers in WVEIS. SchoolMessenger will update overnight.
