How to Apply
In order to be considered for a position, a candidate will need to submit a completed employment application, and bid for a position on line. In addition to that application the applicant would need to contact Sandra Hankins (304-528-5075 or sjhankins@access.k12.wv.us) and request an applicant file which will be emailed to you with complete instructions.
Fingerprint clearance is required for anyone wishing to work for Cabell County Schools. Information will be provided to each applicant when they receive their emailed application file.
The Board of Education recognizes that it is vital to the successful operation of the County that positions created by the Board be filled with highly qualified and competent personnel. The employment of personnel shall be made by the Board only upon nomination and recommendation of the Superintendent. All personnel so nominated and recommended for employment and for subsequent assignment shall meet the certification, licensing, training, and other eligibility classifications as may be required by law and by State Board regulations. In addition to any other information required, the application for any certification or licensing shall include the applicant’s social security number.
Applications for employment will not be accepted from any current Board member. Any staff member’s intentional misstatement of fact material to qualifications for employment or the determination of salary may be considered by this Board to constitute grounds for dismissal.
All applications for employment shall be referred to the Professional Personnel Office.
Summer hours are 8:00am-4:30pm. Appointments are encouraged. |
