Mrs. Ours has been teaching Junior Achievement programs for 23 years. She bonds the business world to the classroom by co-teaching Junior Achievement lessons with business leaders in the community. Mrs. Ours correlates Junior Achievement lessons with her social studies curriculum, emphasizing topics such as business, trade, imports and exports, culture and marketing. Her students also write essays during Money Smart Week. Mrs. Ours was presented her award at the Junior Achievement Business Hall of Fame Awards Celebration in Charleston on April 15.
